I want to share with you a unique and creative art therapy method that will help you better understand yourself and your relationship with the world around you.
This is the "Me as a Dish" method!
Goal:
To diagnose and correct your self-perception in a social environment.
Objectives:
- Stabilize self-esteem.
- Develop emotional and social intelligence.
- Accept and understand your strengths and weaknesses.
How does it work?
- Envision a dish that mirrors your current state, temperament, habits, and how you see yourself from an outsider's perspective.
- Express yourself using paints, foil, clay, or any materials at your disposal!
- Allocate 40-45 minutes for this creative journey.
After crafting your dish:
- Contemplate what you like and dislike about your creation.
- Consider what makes your dish unique and what it reveals about you.
- Evaluate the freshness, size, attractiveness, and temperature of the dish, and how these aspects relate to your self-perception.
Key Questions to Ponder:
- What type of dish would you ideally like to feel like?
- Which attributes of the "ideal" dish would you like to emulate?
- Identify 2-3 actions you can take to align closer with the traits of your "ideal" dish.
This method is a gateway to new dimensions of self-knowledge and self-expression.
Can't wait to see your artistic interpretations!
